This episode of the Diane Rhem Show that aired last Tuesday is wonderful. It would work well in teaching a Research Methods course or a Social Theory course. Biologist Stuart Firestein makes some great points about the fallacy of the "scientific method," how medicine has driven the public to distrust science because of changing "facts," and epistemology in general, among others. It's a great listen.
